Apologies for typing in English, I cannot speak Swedish...

For the purpose of developing some custom decals for myself and to complete an ongoing project, does anyone know or have an image of the text highlighted below? I have searched the internet high and low for any images and so far been unable in finding any clear examples.

I remembered a drawing in my collection but no details. I can however give you the dimensions of where the markings were placed on the Yp from a copy of Mbr 21818.

The start (right edge) of the lettering shall be 200 mm from the doors opening edge.
The bottom edge of the lettering shall be 60 mm above the bottom side edge.
The width of the lettering in all shall be 275 mm.
The heigth shall be 150 mm.

Behind the square formed above there shall be a letter "B" (acc. to Mbr 25849) that is 25 mm to the left of the text box, i.e. 200+275+25 = 500 mm from the door opening. The letter shall be 100 mm high.

Lettering in green directly on the paint, and for GJ (as in the picture) the lettering shall be in white...

The road number acc. to Mbr 25849, 100 mm high (this is for the lettering on the side, below the SJ marking)

Not what you asked for, but maybe it helps...

With a little luck you might be able to find the correct Mbr drawings via the Järnvägsmuseum, if you need (or just like) help please E-mail me (anders.habo(at)gmail.com) and I can try in Swedish... I dont have the referred drawings in my collection, maybe someone else?

Thank you all so far for your help.

I have seen the decals linked above, unfortunately they are too small. I omitted in my original post that I am modelling the railcar in 1/35 scale, and hence will need to be custom designs (for which I have the correct font).

I have started to draw the decal set and will post an image of it once I have returned home and can get back onto my Mac...the sizing dimensions will certainly help with scaling.

In the meantime any further input will be great fully received!

Byggsvenskt is able to deliver decals in "wrong" scale. I found decals for YB05p on their web site for scale 1:87 but wanted decals for 1:45 scale and they where able to deliver that.

If you still want to produce your own decals, I suggest that you ask on Järnvägshistoriskt forum / Historical forum of railroad. There are people there that may be able to help you. And it's fine to ask in English on that forum.

I'm certain (or at least hopeful) that they can help with more details... Don't think 1/35 scale models will be any competition to their available decals...
