Re: MLJ 3 Berg

Olaf As I understand you are trying to get weight into your locomotive? May I provide some cautious advice through experience? If you are thinking about using "Liquid Lead" I would advise using it in very small quantities and in easily accessable areas. As a member of the Scalefour Society...

Re: 1/35 Scale SJ 891mm Project

As work on the Gp van continues, I have had to take a break away from it simply as I was losing the will to live. The thought of the hundreds of bolt heads still to be applied is demoralising enough to prevent me doing any modelling at all, so I have had to take a brief diversion. Equiped with a dra...

Op Under Frame Details

Hi there I am in the process of scratchbuilding a SJ Op open wagon as the attached image. As construction continues I am finding it difficult to find any images of the underframe detail beneath the side stanchions (as identified). http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2734/4502915155_5670117385_o.jpg They ...

Re: 1/35 Scale SJ 891mm Project

Bit of an update on the Gp van project... A good 10hours have been spent on the van this week and at the begining of the week the van had all exterior framework in place and the end doors in place. http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/6612/003yfm.jpg As I'm progressing with the model it is becoming ap...

1/35 Scale SJ 891mm Project

As previously posted on this forum my father and I are in the process of planning and developing an exhibition layout of "a 891mm SJ Line"...in 1/35 scale. Although the project will take some time to complete, this thread will be used to show progress on how the project is progressing and ...

Re: Question about SJ 891 Wagons

I see, this is much like the situation of the stock during the formation of British Railways. So take for example the Van "G" and comparing it to the "Gp"... http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/8940/4215b.jpg http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/2509/090711112.jpg The reason I made ...

Re: Question about SJ 891 Wagons

Thanks for the reply

Yes looking at the images against the drawings I can see something doesn't look quite right...

Are you able to recommend any sources for drawings of these wagons?
